About Arne Jacobsen Swan chair:
The Swan was designed in 1958 for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen together with the Egg, the Drop, etc. The Swan chair is designed for the hotel's Lounge area together with the egg, which is why you can also see some common features on the two chairs. The Swan received a lot of respect both because of its innovative and beautiful design. The Swan chair has a shell made of solidified material, which is covered with foam, and then upholstered with either leather or fabric. The Swan has a four-pass base made of steel, and comes both with and without return rotation.
Why buy used Arne Jacobsen Swans?
When you buy used AJ Swan chairs, you can of course buy some that have been nicely patinated over time, but if you now want to do the work yourself, you can of course also buy a newly upholstered and renovated Swan, which can be difficult to see at all. has been used, and at the same time for about half the new price. Of course, you can also choose to buy a used patinated AJ armchair, if you do not have the time to give the leather / fabric the life that the patina gives the swan.

This is how our renovation of AJ swans takes place: When we at CPH-Classic renovate our Swan chairs, it is often done with a reupholstery and installation of new foam. In addition, we polish the feet/frames so that the chair looks as nice as possible. If you still prefer new swans, we have it too.
