About Charles Eames EA-117 / EA-119
The Ea-117 office chair was designed in 1969 by Charles and Ray Eames, and is part of the Vitras Aluminum group, which means that the chairs are fitted with aluminum frames and armrests. In addition, the EA-117/119 chairs with stretched upholstery appear from the chair's side profiles, which shape themselves to the body, so even though the chair appears with thin upholstery, it still provides good seating comfort. The chair comes in both hopsak fabric, leather cover and net.
The Ea-117 is the low-backed model, and the Ea-119 is the high-backed one.
