About Poul Henningsen table lamp:
Poul Henningsen 3.5 / 2 table lamp, from approx. 1927 with a nickel-plated stand and a base with continuous switch, with matte glass screens, marked 'PAT. APPL. ' H: 44 cm. Age-related traces of wear and newer fabric cord. By February 1927, the PH table lamp was fully developed, and the first specimens from 1927 are marked 'PAT. APPL. ' (Patent applied), until the lamps in the spring of 1928 obtained a patent, after which they were marked 'PATENTED' for a period. The table lamp offered here is thus a rare specimen from the first year's production. Literature: Tina Jørstian and Poul Erik Munk Nielsen: 'Turn on! History of the PH lamp, pages 146-150.
