Copenhagen Classic knows that you probably think about how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust in us that we will treat this confidentially. This text describes our privacy policy. By visiting Copenhagen Classic, you also accept the methods described below.
In connection with the new data protection law, GDPR, which enters into force on 25 May 2018, we at Copenhagen Classic ApS have updated our privacy policy.
For you as a customer at Copenhagen Classic ApS, you will not notice the big difference from before, but you must know that we take care to protect your information, and that when you place an order with us, we will collect and store your data for these purposes:

We only collect data that we need for the above purposes. We do not sell your data and we store your data securely.
What information does Copenhagen Classic collect?
The information about the customers helps us to continuously improve your shopping experience at Copenhagen Classic. The information we collect is described below.
Information you give us:
We receive and store any information you provide directly on our website or otherwise. You are free to opt out of this information, but it will deter you from using many of our customer services. We use the information you provide us to, among other things, respond to your inquiries, adapt future shopping visits to your specific needs, improve our business and communication with you. When placing an order, name, address, telephone number and e-mail address must be entered. As a registered person, you always have the opportunity for insight, and you can object to a registration in accordance with the rules in the Personal Data Act. However, the information is stored for a maximum of 5 years and is submitted and not stored encrypted.
Automatic information:
We receive and store certain information every time you contact us. For example, like many others, we use "cookies", and we receive technical information when your web browser visits Copenhagen Classic. At the bottom of the page you can read more specifically what information we collect. A number of companies offer you tools to visit websites anonymously. It will of course cut us off from personifying your experiences at Copenhagen Classic when we can not recognize you, but we want you to know that they exist. To delete cookies, in internet explorer, click on functions, select internet settings and finally click on delete cookies in the middle.
Email communication:
If you want to receive newsletters or other email from us, send us an email and we will put you on the list. This can be deselected in the same way.
Credit card security:
We have made great efforts to be able to offer a secure solution to our customers and guarantee that we do not store sensitive information on our own server. All credit card information is entered in a secure environment (SSL) and sent in encrypted form to PBS. When you pay for an order with a credit card, Copenhagen Classic gets the right to withdraw the amount when we send your order.
In case of sold out items, you will be contacted before the order is processed and of course have the option to cancel the entire order.
What about Cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric "identifications" we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser, which enables our system to recognize your browser and offer features such as automatic login and permanent shopping baskets, so you can store products over multiple visits. Your browser is capable of processing the use of cookies in several ways, including completely omitting the use thereof, but cookies are the prerequisite for getting the full benefit of the facilities at Copenhagen Classic, and we therefore recommend allowing the use of cookies in one or other form.
Does Copenhagen Classic share the information collected?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we do not sell or trade with others. We only share the customer information with our affiliated departments, which Copenhagen Classic owns or is part of.
Business transfer:
As our business develops, we may want to buy or sell assets. In such trades, customer information is usually one of the transferred assets. Likewise, in the event that Copenhagen Classic or significant parts of it are acquired, the customer information will be a natural part of such a trade.

How securely are my information stored?
The information that Copenhagen Classic collects and receives is stored in a database that is protected by several levels of access controls.
It is important that you protect against misuse of your password and unauthorized use of your computer. Always be sure to log out of computers you share with others. Passwords are encrypted.

Copenhagen Classic gives you access to the following information about you and in some cases the opportunity to change this information. The list will change as we change our website.

What options do I have?
We need a minimum of information to be able to send goods to you. With an account, however, you get access to discounts, permanent shopping cart, newsletter and the like. You can add / correct / delete the information on the "My Account" page at any time.
Automatically collected information (details)
The information we collect and analyze includes your IP address, login; email address, password, computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system and platform, purchase history, URLs to and from our website, including date and time, cookie number, and products you looked at or searched for.
